Meet Our Founder

Hello my Empowered Squad, I’m RaiTimberly Thomas, the founder and director of Empowered. I was Born and raised in Mobile, Al. My parents are Bishop Timothy and Shunda Thomas. I’m the youngest of 6 children. I faithfully attend Faith Ministry Community Church of God Inc. where Bishop Timothy Thomas is my pastor. I am a Business administration major . My hobbies include singing, shopping, writing, and even talking.  I created Empowered because I’ve always wanted a “safe space” which is basically a space where you could vent or talk about everyday struggles without being judged. Empowered was solely based on being able to have an older adult figure to connect with because sometimes our friends can’t give us the advice we need to endure or persevere through what life throws at us.  Also, I'm in the process of publishing my first children's book and Women's Inspirational journal.
